Summary of Current Services

Livestock Farm, Adventure Playground and Community Garden

Open every day to visitors, including all bank holidays with FREE entry (except to special events e.g. Farm Fair). Open: Summer 9 to 5, Winter 9 to 4.

Animal Husbandry Training

For college students, adults with special needs, job seekers, volunteers and work experience for young people.

Horticultural Training

For adults with learning difficulties. Monday to Thursday. For further information, Telephone 0117 944 2149.

Youth Work

A conservation project at our nature reserve on Boiling Wells Lane involving activity sessions, workshops, rural crafts, training and events.

Heritage Project

Workshops for primary schools covering local and natural heritage. We're also developing a heritage trail booklet for St Werburghs.

Children's Services

School and other group visits. Hire of incubator (with eggs) to schools.

Land Management

Caring for the Farm's Community Garden, allotments, Boiling Wells Nature Reserve and the main farm site.

Community Events

Events for all the family that may include a Summer Fair, Apple Day, etc.

Volunteers

Volunteers may get involved with every area of the farm's work.

Farm Café

NB. The Farm Café is managed independently via licence agreement. It is open six days a week, Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesdays), 10am to 4pm Winter and 10am to 5pm Summer. Delicious meals, snacks and daily specials. For further information, Telephone 0117 908 0798.

Miscellaneous

Sale of Farm produce - eggs, meat, plants, veg, etc.

Community Building Hire - £10 per hour, 7 days a week, 9am - 5pm.
